Q1: Do You Plan on Attending College?

100% of my respondents respond Yes, they do plan on attending some sort of university/higher education.

Q2: Do you identify yourself as Pro-Choice or Pro-Life?

Pro-Choice: 44 respondents, 83%

Pro-Life: 4 respondents, 7.5%

Somewhere in between: 4 respondents, 7.5%

Neither: 1 respondent, 2%

Q3: How familiar are you with the legality of abortion in this country?

Extremely familiar: 22 respondents, 41.5%

Somewhat familiar: 27 respondents, 51%

Not so familiar: 4 respondents, 7.5%

Not at all familiar: 0 respondents, 0%

Q4: If you are at least somewhat familiar with the legal landscape for abortion in the Unite

Responses:

  • I know that abortion past 6 weeks is illegal in Texas, and Roe v. Wade has been overturned. I know that there is currently a case being reviewed that would allow for women to go to jail for having an abortion, and other anti-abortion bills are being passed and sent to courts
  • We live in a country with patchwork abortion access that has great disparities between states.
  • I know roe vs wade was overturned and abortions are illegal after like 2 weeks or something of being pregnant
  • I know that Roe v Wade was overturned this summer meaning many red states can ban abortion
  • I will be a criminal if I choose to terminate a pregnancy in Texas
  • That it’s jacked up and fractured
  • i just know that most people are against abortion and some think you should have your own choice
  • I know that Texas has banned abortions andi believe that it is mostly up to the individual state
  • Conservatives target women of color and poor women, abortion is a medical necessity and to ban it is to be responsible for the hundreds of deaths that will result, strictest in the south/red states
  • Abortion in Texas has become illegal and in many states to the point where women who’s had abortions and their doctors can be sued for having an abortion
  • Conservative shill for outlawing abortion and visa versa for liberals. the ability to get an abortion depends on what state youre in
  • Abortion is illegal in some states
  • I know that Roe v. Wade was overturned which allowed states to ban abortion and give punishment to any doctor who performed an abortion.
  • that it is up to the state to decide who can get it and how far along they can get it or if they can at all
  • I know that abortion is no longer federally protected and states have the option to restrict it. I also know that there are lawsuits trying to make abortion inducing drugs illegal.
  • I know that abortion is illegal in many states, including Texas
  • multiple states have made it illegal to have an abortion.
  • Since Roe v Wade was overturned, that leaves all legislation over abortion to the states.
  • Roe v wade was overturned last summer making it state decision on the laws around abortion. Texas, Florida and many other conservative states have made abortion illegal or very very difficult to get this leads to dangerous ways of getting abortions and increased poverty.
  • That roe v wade was overturned and so a lot of red states have made it completely illegal or very difficult to get access to abortions. Also, it only suffocates the poor because the privileged are still able to get abortions.
  • it is up to the states to decide their abortion laws
  • banned
  • Stages of viability and how that correlates to when/if women can get legal abortions, Supreme Court cases surrounding abortion laws, etc.
  • The Supreme Court has placed these horrible restrictions on women and has even tried to come after the abortion pill. I am done with this fascism.
  • Many states are banning it and making it illegal for women, after a time period where most women don’t know if they are even pregnant yet.
  • I know enough that I think abortion should be legal and accessible for everyone.
  • Row v. Wade was overturned and now abortion laws are up to the states
  • Overturning of Roe v Wade allowed states with trigger laws to ban abortion
  • roe v wade was overturned and some states are banning abortion
  • I know that roe vs wade was just overturned possible banning abortions
  • Roe was overturned. Texas passed an abortion ban (not sure about the time in a pregnancy that this goes into effect.) many other state legislators are trying to pass anti-abortion laws. Most places it's still legal.
  • roe v wade was recently overturned which means that now the legality of abortion is up to the state level governments to decide. because of this conservative states have been not only outlawing abortion completely but criminalizing it aw well-- putting doctors and women in an awful position.
  • Since Roe v Wade was overturned it has been up to the states to decisive whether abortion is protected or not, so some have kept if legal while others like Texas have enacted very restrictive laws
  • That it is currently illegal in most places I think under a 15 week period, maybe later which is crazy because most people don’t find out that they’re pregnant until after that or just in that. I know they overturned Roe v Wade and that it’s so obvious the lack of separation between church and state that it’s just ridiculous how that can happen

  • Only if I can get an abortion in a nearby state.
